The National Energy Policy Institute (NEPI) is dedicated to identifying economically and environmentally sound solutions to the challenge of reducing U.S. dependence on foreign oil, and to building new businesses based on those solutions.

Based on a set of expert studies commissioned by the project leaders, this report is unique in its scope and approach. OPEC at 50: Its Past, Its Present and Its Future in a Carbon-Constrained World
On November 4, 2010, NEPI will present a daylong academic conference, where world-renowned scholars and industry experts will present their work as it relates to OPEC.
