George Kaiser
George B. Kaiser is President, CEO and primary owner of GBK Corporation, parent of Kaiser-Francis Oil Company, which he has managed for 40 years. Mr. Kaiser is Chairman of the Board and majority shareholder of BOK Financial Corporation, one of the largest regional commercial bank holding companies, and a major shareholder in several energy, oil and gas, mining and technology companies. George Kaiser founded the George Kaiser Family Foundation. As a lifelong Tulsan, Mr. Kaiser has been engaged in numerous civic activities, including establishing both the Tulsa Community Foundation and Tulsa Educare. Additionally, he has chaired the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, and has been a Trustee at The University of Tulsa and a National Elected Director of the Harvard Alumni Association. Mr. Kaiser attended Tulsa public schools and earned a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Ken Levit
Ken Levit is the Executive Director of the George Kaiser Family Foundation. GKFF is dedicated to children’s health, early childhood learning, and breaking the cycle of poverty. A recent $50 million grant to the University of Oklahoma established the nation’s first community health training service school. GKFF has committed funds to establish the National Energy Policy Institute. Mr. Levit is a former special counsel to the CIA Director and Chancellor of the University of Oklahoma Tulsa Campus. He is a graduate of Brown University and Yale University Law School.
Tony Knowles
Tony Knowles, President of the National Energy Policy Institute, is a former two-term Governor of Alaska and Mayor of Anchorage. While serving as governor, he chaired the Western Governors Association and the Interstate Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. Governor Knowles was born and raised in Tulsa. He graduated from Yale University with a BA in economics.
